Literature Text

The girl was dead

Unwilling to believe

She was still breathing air for free

He was wrong, and they were right

We've lost a child, She lost her fight

But they couldn't assume

That she still lived and breathes

That's so pointless, and we all know it.

Her cold palms and shut eyes

Maybe finding peace tonight thinking,

"What's left of a cheery smile."

If it's a rotted corpse you're in denial

He reminded her

She could only smile
How: Read it forward once (it should be negative)

then read it backwards, line by line, NOT word by word! (this should seem more positive).

i wanted to write a poem where it was death one way, but life the other way :3

I love this!  It's very creative the way you wrote down and then back up.  How'd you do that?
